PRESENTATION
Club des Cultures et Loisirs (CCL) is an apolitical, secular, non-profit association created on January 19, 2004 under Law No. 40-484 of July 1, 1901, registered with the Ministry of the Interior, Security and Decentralization under receipt No. 0670 MATDCL-SG-DLPAP-DOCA of Tuesday, August 25, 2009 and published in the Official Journal of the Republic of Tuesday, September 1, 2009. The Club is in the fields of cinematography, sports (Athletics), dances and tourism. CCL collaborates with other NGOs, associations and clubs pursuing the same goals and objectives:
1. HEADQUARTERS
The Club’s headquarters are located in Lomé, in the Nyékonakpoè district. It may be transferred to any other location upon decision of the General Assembly.
2. DURATION
The Club is created for an unlimited period.
3. PURPOSE
The Club aims to bring together young people from the surrounding area in search of a future in the fields of culture, leisure and development.
4. OBJECTIVES
The Club aims to: – promote friendship, tourism, humanism, volunteering, sport (athletics), cinematography and dances; – exchange ideas, knowledge, cultures and leisure activities; – work for education, health and development; – seek ways and means likely to encourage the emergence of these organizations on a solid basis through awareness tours, training sessions for better management of their activities.
5. MEANS OF ACTION
To achieve its objectives, the club has set itself the following means of action:
– to organize and participate in socio-community, socio-cultural, socio-educational and socio-sporting activities;
– to organize and participate in courses and holiday camps, work camps and excursions, visits and tourist trips;
– to organize and participate in reflection days.
6. OUR ACTIVITIES:
The Club organizes various activities, namely: work camps, training and short, medium and long-term internships of 2, 3 weeks or one (1) month or more each year depending on the volunteers’ areas. Our activities are financed by the participation of our volunteers and led by facilitators from the Club’s facilitators’ committee.
7. OUR WORKCAMPS:
Our workcamps are: school or academic support, summer camps, crafts, artistic, renovation and reforestation and many others.
8. OUR LEISURE ACTIVITIES:
Our leisure activities at the work camps are : word games, cards, sports, songs or music, dances, African singing sessions, evening stories, sketch or theater scenes, evenings, invisible friend, etc.
